Located in one of the nation’s most
active communities.
Boulder, Colorado, is the gateway to the
Rocky Mountains. The residents of this active community span
the full spectrum of recreational activities the area has to
offer. Boulder is host to the training grounds for elite
runners, pro bicyclists, triathletes, and University of
Colorado student athletes. Boulderites are inclined to be
recreational enthusiasts of all imaginable sport related
involvement: running, hiking, biking, swimming, rollerblading,
snowriding (ski or boards), kayaking, rock climbing, football,
soccer, baseball, softball, volleyball, tennis, hockey... well,
just about any activity that takes one out of doors.
Your surgeon’s first choice.
Whether an individual is a conditioned
athlete or just a weekend warrior, injuries can be sustained at
any time. These bold Boulderites exercise their freedom to
choose some of Boulder’s best orthopedic Specialists.
When an injury or chronic condition requires surgery, these
surgeons choose Boulder Surgery Center first when scheduling a
surgical procedure.
A modern facility designed by surgeons.
The Boulder Surgery Center opened in
spring of 2005 as the manifestation of dreams held in the minds
of forward thinking surgeons, who aligned themselves with the
our local community hospital to create a joint venture
ownership and build a center of excellence. These surgeon
specialists are focused in the treatment of acute or chronic
acquired injuries or degeneration of the musculoskeletal
system, which includes: general orthopedics, sports medicine,
hand specialists, foot and ankle specialists, and physiatrists,
who specialize in the treatment of spine related pain.
Outpatient care by the finest nursing
professionals.
Boulder Surgery Center recruited
Registered Nurses and para-professionals from our own locale
and places beyond. These professionals are committed to
consistently providing efficient, competent and insightful care
to all of our patients requiring technically advanced
orthopedic services. The center designed for outpatient care
services allows the patient to return home where recovery,
rehabilitation and healing take place. When the nurse
determines our patient is fit to return home, we believe the
patient and their families depart with the peace of mind
knowing that each individual patient’s needs were
addressed with privacy and in the artful delivery of excellent
nursing care.

The Boulder Surgery Center is accredited
by the nationally recognized accrediting organization, The
Joint Commission. At a time when health care is increasingly
becoming a consumer-directed commodity, more consumers are
researching their options.
Surgical procedures performed in
ambulatory settings are elective, and the best criterion to
assure a place of safety for receiving care, is to select a
center that has achieved accreditation status by one of the
three accrediting agencies: American Association for
Accreditation for Ambulatory Surgery Facilities (AAAASF), the
Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC),
or The Joint Commission, formerly The Joint Commission for
American Healthcare Organizations.
The public may contact The Joint
Commission’s office of Quality Monitoring to report any
concerns about their care, treatment, services or patient
safety issues, by either calling 1-800-994-6610 or through
their web site at www.jointcommission.org.
